CHERYL LADD – AGE 70
Cheryl Ladd hasn’t been renowned for being someone who sits still since she first emerged on the scene. She shot to fame in 1977 with Charlie’s Angels and went on to star in a slew of TV movies, record songs, take the stage on Broadway, appear on the big screen, and engage in various business investments.
After high school, Ladd joined the band The Music Shop and performed in various mid-western locations before making the life-changing choice to travel to Los Angeles. In 1971, she appeared in Chrome and Hot Leather. She also made appearances in several television episodes as a guest star, including The Partridge Family and The Fantastic Journey. After that, there was the chance to replace Farrah Fawcett on Charlie’s Angels, which had become a genuine phenomenon. It catapulted her into the stratosphere, making her a celebrity and keeping the media’s attention on them.
