GEORGE WALKER BUSH | 124
As a young boy, George W. Bush was sent to study in a boarding school, following a family tradition. His education there was a somewhat rocky one, and he often shared in later years that his story is an example of how a straight-C student can succeed in life.
This US President drew strong criticism over his handling of foreign policy and his administration’s response to Hurricane Katrina. Still, he did well while in the position. His notable works include signing the education reform bill called the No Child Left Behind Act and the Medicare Modernization Act. He also signed a major tax cut program and pushed for socially conservative efforts and faith-based initiatives. In 2004, the public re-elected Bush as president, and one of his investments included reaching multiple free trade agreements. Bush returned to Texas after finishing his term, opening his presidential library.
