The now-42-year-old actor graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in English, focusing on African-American literature.

With his incredible innate talent, Legend started to make a name for himself as a musician. He even received critical acclaim for providing his lead vocals to Joan Osborne’s hit song One of Us.
