On television, Ashley Rickards portrays a teen trying to survive high school on the show Awkward. In reality, she graduated high school at 15 and joined Mensa to be a part of “a really stimulating community.” The actress said in an interview that she loves to learn, and so she wanted to pursue intellectual maturity at Mensa and learn areas she’s not necessarily familiar with. While this star has an unreported IQ, she possesses a genius-level IQ, which is the main requirement for joining the high-IQ organization.
Rickards got her first taste of acting while she was still in elementary school. After graduating high school, she began pursuing a performance career. She appeared in various short films and shows such as CSI: NY, Ugly Betty, and One Tree Hill. From there, she went on to earn movie credits in Fly Away and Struck by Lightning.
