Musician Alicia Keys was her high school’s valedictorian and briefly attended the prestigious Columbia University on a scholarship before dropping out to pursue a full-time music career. She reportedly has an IQ of 154 and was able to graduate high school by the age of 16. Her intelligence seems evident to her fans, as she regularly breaks new ground with her compositions. Keys started singing at an early age, performing in her school’s musical productions. After a friend gifted her an old piano, she began taking lessons. She was seven years old when she received classical piano training. She continued her music studies until the age of 18. Moreover, she attended the Professional Performing Arts School at age twelve, taking music, choir, dance, and theater classes. Outside of music, Keys has several book credits, including a collection of poems.
