2012: Penelope Cruz

Spanish-born actress Penélope Cruz became a household name for her performances in movies directed by Pedro Almodovar, including All About My Mother and Broken Embraces. She is Spain’s first actress to garner an Oscar award for her acting credit in 2008’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Since then, she has starred in noteworthy American films, including Vanilla Sky and Nine. The actress also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and an Honorary César Award.

In 2012, Cruz hit the red carpet at the Oscars in LA. She decked out in a silver-gray dress made by Armani Privé.
