They were able to transition to making pop music. Their signature song was Midnight Train to Georgia, and eventually, their name changed to Gladys Knight and the Pips. The band released their last album together called All Our Love after their songs saw worldwide success in just a few decades. 

Knight went on to fly solo, and she had an impressive career with it. She recorded the track for License to Kill together with Patti Labelle and Dionne Warwick.
