Selma Blair

Project: Anger Management

Selma Blair portrayed Charlie Sheen’s girlfriend, Kate Wales, on the comedy show Anger Management before she was forcefully fired in 2013. The actress allegedly called her attorneys and filed a $1.2 million lawsuit on Sheen and the show’s production company, Lionsgate Entertainment. She demanded the amount she would have earned had she stayed on the show. Blair claimed she was wrongfully terminated after she made remarks about Sheen holding up shooting because he was still learning his lines. Well, the issue seems petty, but it’s good to know that she received several other projects after her departure from the show.

Blair obtained recognition for her role in the 1998 film Brown’s Requiem. Her breakthrough came when she played Cecile Caldwell in Cruel Intentions and Liz Sherman in Hellboy. Her other remarkable film projects include Mothers and Daughters and Legally Blonde.
